Big Pockets, Long Line

The Diane | Women's Longline Coat with Patch Pockets and Notch Lapel falls straight to mid-thigh with a notch lapel, a single-breasted front and two oversized patch pockets stitched on low at the hip. The shoulder is dropped a little for ease and the sleeve runs full to a plain cuff. The body hangs loose from the shoulder with no waist seam.

Relaxed Without Losing the Shape

Patch pockets at that scale are a deliberate design choice and they give the front something to look at without any hardware. Because the body hangs from the shoulder, it goes over a knit or a blazer without pulling. The lapel keeps enough structure at the neck to stop it reading as a robe.

How to Wear It

Wear it over wide-leg trousers and loafers with the front open, or over jeans and a roll neck with the collar turned up. Hands in the pockets is the intended look.
