Straight Down, Buttoned Across

The Zoe | Women's Straight Double-Breasted Coat with Wide Notch Lapel falls in a straight line from the shoulder to a hem below the knee, with a double-breasted front, two even rows of buttons and a wide notch lapel folding back across the chest. Welt pockets sit at the hip and the sleeve is set plain from a natural shoulder. There is no waist seam and no belt.

The Coat With No Shaping at All

Cutting it straight means the coat hangs from the shoulder and covers whatever is underneath completely, which is more practical than a fitted line. The wide lapel gives the front its only shape. It works over a suit and over a knit dress equally.

How to Wear It

Wear it over tailoring with a heeled boot, or over jeans and a roll neck with the lapel turned up. Nothing else needed.
