Yoke Pattern, High Neck

The Fernande | Women's Fair Isle Sweater with Turtleneck pairs a Fair Isle yoke worked in earth tones with a fold-over turtleneck that sits high at the jaw. The body below is plain and marled, and ribbing finishes the cuff and hem. The knit is worked loosely so the sweater drapes rather than holds.

The coldest Neckline

A turtleneck under a Fair Isle yoke closes the neck completely, so no scarf is needed over the top. Earth tones make the pattern far easier to wear with the rest of a wardrobe than a bright one. The loose knit gives it drape.
