Lined to the Ankle
The Hedwige | Women's Pile-Lined Ankle Boots with Buckle Strap lines the whole boot in a deep pile that folds out over the top of the shaft, above a round toe and a lugged sole. A buckled strap crosses the front of the ankle and a short pull tab sits at the back. The upper carries a napped finish.
Built for Standing Around Outside
The pile runs right through rather than only at the collar, so it does its job below the ankle as well as above. A lugged sole grips properly on a wet pavement. The buckle strap is decorative rather than functional — they pull straight on.
How to Wear It
Wear them with slim jeans tucked in or cuffed just above, and a thick sock. They take leggings equally well.
