The cuffs turn back to show a check facing, and a buttoned tab at the hem adjusts the fit. The shoulder is dropped well past the natural line.
The Detail Is in the Turn
The check facing only appears when the cuff is rolled, which makes it a detail you choose rather than one you are stuck with. The boxy crop is cut for high-waisted trousers, where the hem lands exactly at the waistband. Everything about the shape is oversized except the length.
